380 women qualify in test

Women candidates turned up in good numbers for the police constable recruitment here on Friday. As many as 644 women candidates participated in the preliminary test of 2.5 km run conducted from Pipula Road junction to Y.V. Rao Estate Junction. Of this, 380 candidates were selected for further tests. The city police have been conducting the preliminary tests for Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Constable recruitment since Thursday and will continue up to February 7 except on public holidays.
