35 companies visit KLU for placements

KLU associate director Prasad says 75 pc of 2014 batch students got placements

Koneru Lakshmaiah University associate director (placements) N.B.V. Prasad on Wednesday said that 75 per cent of the eligible outgoing 2014 batch students were placed in the campus placement drives.

He said 35 top-notch companies had visited the university and selected a large number of students. “Several national and international companies visit out university regularly. TCS has selected 201 students followed by Infosys (91), Wipro (74), CTS (55), Tech Mahindra (43), IBM (20), NTT Data (15) and Amararaja (11). Other like ISMT, FMC, Virtusa and ADP has also hired students. We are gradually moving towards cent per cent placements,” he added. KLU president K. Satyanarayana, Chancellor G.L. Dutta, VCs Sri Hari Rao. L.S.S. Reddy and College of Engineering Principal Ananda Kumar congratulated the students who got selected.
