The day-long women’s leadership conference held here on Wednesday enabled women leaders from various sectors to share their experiences, give suggestions, and support the development of women as leaders.

The conference was organised jointly by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Tiruchi zone and Indian Women Network (IWN).

More and more educated women now hold high designations in all sectors.

Women are bestowed with opportunities in the current vibrant and growing economy,” said Rani Muralidharan, chairperson, CII Tiruchi zone, during the inaugural session.

Bathool Maluk, convener, IWN Tiruchi chapter, and P. Kanakaraj, vice-chairman, CII Tiruchi zone, spoke.
