Two habitual offenders – Rajakili alias Santhakumar and ‘Dive’ Mani alias Manikandan - were detained under the Goondas Act here recently on the orders of Commissioner of Police Shailesh Kumar Yadav. Rajakili was involved in four cases of robbery, criminal intimidation, and assault. He was arrested by the Ariyamangalam police last month in connection with a robbery case. ‘Dive’ Mani has attempt to murder, extortion, and criminal intimidation cases booked against him. He was arrested by the Fort Police in August for demanding money from an auto driver and for damaging the vehicle after the latter refused to part with his money.
