Traffic to be diverted for three days near junction

January 14, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:56 am IST - TIRUCHI:

Vehicular traffic on the bridge near Tiruchi railway junction will be stopped from January 16 to 18 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is in view of the work of laying steel girders for the new multi-level bridge being built to replace the existing narrow bridge. Buses from E. Pudur, Crawford, and Mannarpuram proceeding to the central bus stand and Dindigul road will be operated via Mannarpuram, TVS Tollgate, Head Post Office, Mutharaiyar statue, Othakadai, Court junction, MGR statue, Vestry School Round About, Sangam Hotel, and V.O.C Road to the bus stand and Dindigul Road.

Other vehicles would come via Mannarpuram, TVS Tollgate, and Head Post Office and take the routes as per their wish to reach the central bus stand and Dindigul Road, a police release said.
