Traffic regulations for Poochorithal festival

The Tiruchi district police have announced diversion of vehicular traffic in connection with the Poochorithal festival of Sri Mariamman Temple at Samayapuram. The diversion will come into effect from March 8 noon and would be in vogue till March 9 noon.

All heavy goods vehicles and mofussil buses from Tiruchi proceeding towards Salem will go through Check Post-7 (Kudamurutti), Jeeyapuram, Pettavaithalai, Kulithalai, Musiri, Thottiyam and Namakkal.

All heavy goods vehicles and mofussil buses from Salem and Namakkal coming towards Tiruchi will be diverted at Musiri Kaikatti and come via Kulithalai, Pettavaithalai, Jeeyapuram and Check Post-7 (Kudamurutti). All heavy goods vehicles and mofussil buses from Ariyalur proceeding towards Tiruchi will be diverted at Pullambadi and allowed via Sangenthi, Thachankurichi and Irungalur Kaikatti, a police press release here said.
