Tiruchi Range second in police duty meet

The Tiruchi Range team was placed overall second in the State Police Dutymeet held recently.

The Tiruchi Range team was placed overall second in the State Police Dutymeet held recently.

The Tiruchi range team emerged overall second in the State Police Duty meet-2014 held at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy in Oonamancheri near Chennai recently.

A total number of 24 teams including 11 police ranges and seven commissionerates participated in the meet held from June 23 to 28.

The Tiruchi range team totally bagged five medals including two gold medals in finger print and photography contests.

First time

This is the first time that the Tiruchi Range team had emerged overall second in the duty meet, a police press release here said.

Inspector General of Police, Central Zone M. Ramasubramani appreciated the team members for their feat.
