Releasing the draft roll of voters list for the year 2011 at an all-party representatives' meeting here on Monday, Mahesan Kasirajan, District Collector, said that Tiruchi district accounts for an electoral strength of 17,10,533 voters - men 8,51,681 and women 8,58,852 and the draft roll included the supplementary voters' list released on September 15.

The following are the details of the Assembly Constituency-wise voters list:

Manapparai 2,08,342 -- 1,04,334 men and 1,04,008 women; Srirangam 2,13,673 -- 1,06,571 men and 1,07,102 women; Tiruchi (West) -- 1,94,610 -- 95,972 men and 98,638 women; Tiruchi (East) -- 1,91,028 -- 94,939 men and 96,089 women; Tiruverumbur -- 1,98,684 -- 1,00,027 men and 98,657 women; Lalgudi -- 1,69,291 -- 83,681 men and 85,610 women; Manachanallur -- 1,80,174 -- 89,715 men and 90,459 women; Musiri -- 1,79,011 -- 89,454 men and 89,557 women; and Thuraiyur (SC) 1,75,720 -- 86,988 men and 88,732 women.

The Collector also said that the annual summary revision also commences from today and will continue up to November 9.

Those born up to December 31, 1992, could apply for inclusion of their names up to November 9 at the designated locations.

Apart from the regular functioning on the working days, special camps would be held on October 30 (Saturday) and November 7 (Sunday) at these designated locations.

Parts increased

He said that the number of parts has been increased from the previous 1,586 to 2,111 parts.

Booth level officers have been nominated for taking up verification process.

The forms received during the summary revision would be sent immediately to the electors registering officer of the Assembly Constituency, he said.

M.Anbhazhagan, Deputy Mayor (DMK); Jerome Arockiaraj (Congress); R.Manoharan (AIADMK); K.Annadurai (CPI-M); K.Suresh (CPI) were among those who participated.
