The ‘Cello Pointec Best Handwriting Wizards 2017’ hosted by The Hindu in School in association with BIC Cello India, turned out to be an occasion for students not only to prove their skill in handwriting skill but to also get calligraphy tips on improving the much needed skill.

The multi-purpose hall of K. A. P. Viswanatham Primary School in Thillai Nagar was jam-packed with enthusiastic participants, who were selected among about 16,000 participants for the final round after preliminary rounds were conducted in 25 schools. About 300 students from Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Karur, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Karaikal made it to the final round. The competitions were held in separate categories for juniors (classes 4 to 6) and seniors (classes 7 to 9).
