The buses will have to come via Mannarpuram, Viralimalai Junction, Aristo Roundabout, and Gorimedu to reach Periyamilaguparai. The second additional entry for Tiruchi railway junction will act as the temporary bus stand for buses for Thanjavur. These buses will come via TVS Tollgate and Head Post Office Junction to the spot and return in the same direction.

Buses meant for Pudukottai will have to come via TVS Tollgate, Head Post Office junction to reach the eastern side of Khadi Kraft. The temporary regulation will be in operation from October 31 to November 4.

PARKING AT MILITARY GROUND: The military ground at Mannarpuram is earmarked for parking government buses from other divisions and private and omni buses. They would have come to the bus stand at the scheduled time to pick up passengers.

Government buses could also park their vehicles at the respective depots on times when they are not operated. Parking of buses at temporary bus stands would not be allowed, say police sources.

OMNI BUSES: Omni buses in limited numbers would be allowed to be parked along the V.O.C. Road beyond Gate-3 of Central Bus Stand. The other vehicles will have to be parked at Mannarpuram military ground. After taking in passengers, these vehicles will have to go via Roshan Mahal, Collector Office Road, and Vestry School Junction.

TOWN BUSES: Town buses will be operated on their usual routes within the city.

Temporary mobile toilets and water drums for supplying drinking water would be set up at the temporary bus stands. Flex boards guiding passengers and buses on temporary bus stands would be installed at different places near the central bus stand and announcements would be made through public address system on the changes, a senior police official said.
