Temple honours from Sri Andal temple in Srivilliputhur were received at Srirangam Sri Renganathaswamy temple on Saturday.

The Choodi kalaintha honours, among other things, included garland, holy ‘vastram’ besides fruits and a specially designed ‘kili’ (parrot) signifying Sri Andal. The gifts were sent in connection with the Chithirai festival currently on at Srirangam and were meant for adorning Namperumal. The honours were received from Ramesh alias Rangarajan representing Srivilliputhur Sri Andal temple by the Srirangam temple authorities led by S. Kalyani, its Executive Officer.
