Temple gifts from Srirangam Sri Ranganathaswamy temple were sent to Sri Andal temple in Srivilliputtur to mark the Adi Pooram festival. The gifts included ‘Parivattam’ holy clothes, garlands, dry fruits for Sri Rajamannar and Sri Andal. The clothes will be used during the temple car procession at Srivilliputtur on August 5. The ritual marks the holy link between the Srirangam and Srivilliputtur. On Wednesday, the temple honours were taken in a holy procession in Srirangam and was kept for public darshan.
