Delivering the Graduation Day address at Sri Venkateswara College of Education at Peravurani, he said that students will qualify two major subjects in this course ie Maths and Physics. After completing the course they can join either M.Sc Physics or M.Sc Maths.

The course will be introduced in 100 colleges of education in Tamil Nadu.

The Vice Chancellor also said that the aim of education is to bring out perfection in the behaviour of students. Teachers also should make students realise that the world is a place to succeed and not to loose hope. "Teachers should enter class rooms with a smiling face. Their body language should instill confidence in the minds of students." he said. He advised students to respect teachers.
