Tahsildar’s house burgled

The house of R. Renuka, Special Tahsildar of Social Security Scheme, Tiruverambur, was burgled when she and her husband were away since Friday. Burglars gained entry into the house by breaking the front door lock of the house at Raghavendra Garden area at Tiruvanaikoil. They stole gold jewellery weighing eight-and-half sovereigns and around eight kilograms of silver wares and escaped through the rear door. The offence was passed on to the Special Tahsildar who landed in Tiruchi on Sunday. The Srirangam Crime police have registered a case.
