Tamil Nadu Adi Dravida Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) has invited applications online for availing of its financial assistance.
Hindu Adi Dravidars are eligible to apply for financial assistance with subsidy given for land purchase or improvement, entrepreneurs economic development scheme, self-employment scheme for youth, establishment of hospitals, petrol/diesel or gas retail outlets, revolving funds and economic assistance for self-help groups, accelerated power connection scheme, self-financing scheme and for appearing for main exams. Applicants seeking assistance under the self employment scheme for youth should be in the age group of 18 to 35. For other schemes, the applicants should be between 18 and 55 years of age. The ceiling on annual family income is Rs.1 lakh.
For assistance for setting up petrol/diesel or gas retail outlets, the annual family income of applicants should not exceed Rs.3 lakh.
Applicants are required to apply on www.tahdco.tn.gov.in between March 15 and 30, a release said.
