Swaran Singh reviews summary revision of electoral rolls in Tiruchi district

Swaran Singh, Managing Director of SIPCOT and special observer, on Wednesday reviewed the ongoing summary revision of electoral rolls in Tiruchi district.

The summary revision, with January 1, 2013 as the qualifying date for inclusion of names is currently underway. Mr.Singh chaired a meeting with district officials to review the progress of the exercise.

Later, accompanied by Jayashree Muralidharan, Collector, and V.P.Thandapani, Corporation Commissioner, he conducted field inspections at Thennur, Puthur, Tollgate, Golden Rock and Tiruverumbur to cross check the applications received for inclusions, deletions and corrections in the voters’ list.
