The State government will sanction a maximum of Rs.28, 000 to each student for a year for two years for this purpose.

The District Collector, Darez Ahmed, felicitated the Adi Dravida and ST students who got top ten ranks in the district in the SSLC public examinations here on Wednesday.

The State government has come forward to bear the expense of Adi Dravida and ST students of government schools, municipal schools, Adi Dravida and ST schools, who secured top ten ranks in the district for pursuing Plus Two in private schools of their choice.

The State government will sanction a maximum of Rs.28, 000 to each student for a year for two years for this purpose.

The students of Perambalur district – S.Saranya (Kurumbalur Government HSS) 476 marks; R.Subha (Veppanthattai GHSS) 462 marks; R.Prema (Arumbavur GHSS) 453; K.Anandhi (Vengalam Government HSS) 453; S.Prakash (Maruvathur GHSS) 449; S. Ponmalar (Perambalur Government HSS) 443; S. Murugeswari (Kunnam GHSS) 443; T. Dharmendran (Kurumbalur GHSS) 442; M. Shanmugapriya (V. Kalathur GHSS) 439; T. Ganesan (Vengalam GHSS) 438, who secured the top ten marks in the district have been selected for pursuing Plus Two in the schools of their choice under the programme of the State Adi Dravida and ST Welfare Department.
