St. Mary’s Cathedral opened

A large number of Christians witnessed the consecration and dedication of St. Mary’s Cathedral at Melapudur in the city on Sunday.

Most. Rev. George Antonysamy, Archbishop of Madras, Mylapore, was the main celebrant. Most. Rev. Antony Devotta, Bishop of Diocese of Tiruchirappali, opened and blessed the cathedral.

Most. Rev. Peter Fernando, Archbishop - Emirates of Madurai, performed the altar consecration.
