Southern Railway will operate superfast special fare trains from Tiruchi to Chennai and back next month.
Train No. 06026 Tiruchi – Chennai Egmore superfast special fare train will leave Tiruchi at 3.15 p.m. on May 6, 13, 20 and 27 and reach Chennai Egmore at 9.10 p.m., the same day.
Train No. 06025 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchi superfast special fare train will leave Chennai Egmore at 9.30 a.m. on May 10, 17, 24 and 31 and reach Tiruchi at 3.10 p.m., the same day.
The trains will have one AC 2-tier, three AC 3-tier, 13 sleeper class, two general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Ariyalur, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Tambaram. Train No. 06026 Tiruchi – Chennai Egmore special train will stop at Mambalam also, a Southern Railway press release said.
