The Inner Wheel Club of Tiruchi celebrated Children's Day by taking out a group of 11 students of child labour special school run by the Child Labour Elimination and Effective Rehabilitation Society (CHEERS) at Kattur to a visit of the Anna Science Centre – Planetarium. Later, the students witnessed a planetarium show ‘Astronomy in ancient times' for over 45 minutes. The various planets, constellations and some of the big names in the field of astronomy thrilled them.
They took part in the quiz conducted by the project chairman Nandini and former secretary of the club, Sivasundari held at the end of the show .
At the environment and conservation gallery, the visiting students took notes of many important details given on each and every exhibit. The children also enjoyed their time at the planetarium park.
