Special camps to receive applications for inclusion of names in the voters’ list will be held at all the 2,309 polling stations across the district on Sunday.

The camps, to be held as per the instructions of the Election Commission, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the polling stations. Eligible voters whose names have not been included in the electoral rolls, can hand in the filled-in Form VI for inclusion of their names, Collector Jayashree Muralidharan said in a press release. She urged all eligible voters to utilise their opportunity.

Meanwhile, Corporation Commissioner V.P.Thandapani conducted a training programme for 495 booth level officers who would be on duty in Tiruchi West and Tiruchi East Assembly constituencies in the city.

Mr. Thandapani said the Corporation had made arrangements to make public announcements through vehicles about the conduct of the special camps.
