Learning analytics should also be used to determine whether students are ready to move on to the next topic; whether they are falling behind; whether a student is at risk of not completing a course; what is the best next course for a particular student?;and whether a student requires the help of a counsellor?

Interested firms have been asked to submit their EOI by April 17 along with details of their relevant experience; proposals and solutions, products offered with working and business models.

The initiative, Tiruchi Corporation officials said, would help bring about a big push towards improving the standards of the schools run by the urban local bodies. There are 61 Corporation schools, including 31 elementary, 27 middle, two high and one higher secondary school, in Tiruchi.
