Skill development programmes

Men and women above the age of 18 can participate in The MSME Development Institute's skill development programmes, to be held in the city from June 2 to 6.

The MSME Development Institute will conduct skill development programmes on various products in the city from June 2 to 6.

Theory and demonstration sessions on making non-woven carry bags, fancy and shopping bags, nursery garden bags, rice bags, tissue paper and household chemicals such as dish wash liquid, room fresher, hand and floor wash liquids, detergent power and cake, cleaning power, fancy candles, camphor products, black and white phenyl and toilet soap and food products such as ready-to-eat products, fast food items, fruit juices, jams and pickles would be organised.

Topics such as formalities for setting up MSME units, selection of machinery and raw materials, marketing, financial assistance schemes, quality control and licences would also be held as part of the training.

Candidates, both men and women, above the age of 18 can participate. Successful candidates would be issued certificates.

Fifty percent concession in fee would be offered for candidates from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and differently abled candidates.
