Consulate-General of Russia on Sunday reached out to students of Tiruchi by highlighting the openings on pursuing medicine and engineering courses in Russia.
Team members belonging to an accredited consultant firm from Chennai showcased the courses offered by the State-owned universities to students. They explained the students about the admission procedure, fee structure, duration of the courses, medium of instruction, and eligibility criteria.
K. Suneepthi Reddy, senior executive, Study Abroad Educational Consultants, said the Russian universities had come forward to offer 300 medical seats to Indian students, particularly from Tamil Nadu. Several universities had figured among top 100 in the world ranking. The cost of higher education in Russia was much cheaper than many countries as education in Russia was subsidised.
