Publicity vehicles to raise awareness among the rural masses through cultural programmes of the benefits of the State Rural Livelihood Mission were flagged off by Collector Jayashree Muralidharan on Saturday.

The vehicles would travel to different hamlets in the four taluks of Manchanallur, Thottiyam, Thathaiyengarpet and Marungapuri in the district where the Rural Livelihood Mission is being implemented.

A cultural troupe from Namakkal district would stage cultural programmes to highlight the benefits of the programme.
