Programme on gold appraisal in Kumbakonam and Tiruchi

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute, Chennai, will organise a two-week skill development programme on gold appraisal in Tiruchi and Kumbakonam from November 14 to 23.

Objective

The programme in Tiruchi will be held at ‘Udhayam', No. 35, William road, Cantonment.

The objective of the programme is to train educated unemployed youth and enable them to get employed in nationalised and cooperative banks, besides helping them to start their own pawnbroker shops and jewellery shops.

Training

The practical training will be conducted through modern touch acid technique.

A government of India certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course.
