R. Kalaikkovan, Director, Dr. M. Rajamanikkanar Centre for Historical Research, Tiruchi, and M. Nalini, associate professor, Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, and R. Akila, assistant professor, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Musiri, were given life-time achievement awards by the Rotary Club of Kumbakonam Grand in recognition of their contributions in the field of epigraphy and history.
Kovi. Chezhiyan, MLA, presented the awards to them at a function held at Tiruvidaimarudur recently in the presence of S. Seetharaman, president, and G. Radhakrishnan, secretary of the club, according to a press release from Dr. Rajamanikkanar Centre for Historical Research.
