The City Police have braced up for the birth anniversary celebration of ‘Perumpidigu Mutharayar’ beefing up security measures across the city as a precautionary measure to avert any untoward incidents.

Law enforcers have worked out a security scheme exclusively for the event tomorrow when the statue of ‘Perumpidigu Mutharayar’ would be garlanded by a host of leaders.

In addition to mobilising local strength, manpower strength has been augmented by drafting men from the Armed Reserve and Tamil Nadu Special Police Battalion besides those from the Home Guards.
