Central Civil Pensioners’ Forum, Srirangam has requested the government to disburse arrears to eligible pre-2006 retirees on the basis of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh, and judgement without any further delay.
A resolution to this effect was passed unanimously at the general body meeting of the Forum here recently.
The forum requested the government to provide interim medical assistance for in-patient treatment for pensioners residing in non-CGHS area till a final decision was taken to implement the Health Insurance Scheme. The forum’s general secretary N.Guruswamy presented the accounts up to the end of July, a release said.
