Pension, postal grievances adalat on June 13

The Pension Adalat/Dak Adalat will be conducted at the office of the Postmaster General, Central Region, Tiruchi on June 13.

According to a press release from the Postmaster General, Central Region, Tiruchi, the last date of receipt of grievances for both adalats is June 6.

For Pension Adalat, the grievances regarding delay/non-settlements of pension benefits in respect of retired personnel, grievances in receipt of pension and family pension through post offices in respect of retired officials of other departments alone will be entertained. The grievances must be addressed to G. Manoharan, senior accounts officer, Office of the Postmaster General, Central region, Tiruchi-620001.

For Dak Adalat, the complaint should contain full details of the letters posted, MO/VP/registered or insured / speed post registered. If the complaint is about the savings schemes or postal life insurance, the complaint should contain the details of the recovery, account number, name and full address of the deposit/insurant, name of the post office and so on. The grievances must be addressed to K. Durairaju, assistant director (INV), Office of the Postmaster General, Central Region, Tiruchi - 620001.

Only those cases which have already been taken up with divisions/units and the pensioner or complainant not satisfied with the response from the divisional level can be brought to the pension adalat /dak adalat. No fresh cases will be entertained.

The grievances may be sent only through ordinary post or registered post.
