T.R.Pachamuthu, India Jananayagi Katchi (IJK) candidate for the Perambalur Lok Sabha constituency, held discussion with the workers of different political parties in the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance in the city on Friday. Mr. Pachamuthu who arrived at Perambalur after finalisation of the alliance in Chennai on Thursday, met the party workers of Permbalur.
Later he arrived here and held discussion with the leaders of BJP, IJK, DMDK, MDMK, and PMK of the various Assembly segments in Perambalur constituency, BJP sources here said.
Meanwhile, local leaders of the BJP and the DMDK buried their hatchet over the allotment of Tiruchi seat to the latter with the DMDK candidate A.M.G.Vijayakumar calling on M.Subramaniam, State secretary of the BJP, on Friday.
