MP inaugurates seminar hall

T. K. Rangarajan, Rajya Sabha member, declared open the seminar hall constructed from his MP Local Area Development Fund at the MIET Polytechnic College here recently.

Speaking on the occasion, he commended the role played by educational institutions run by minorities in the overall development of Muslims and Dalits.

He said that no country will be able achieve development unless there is significant growth in the field of education.

Mr. Rangarajan said that he has been utilising his MP Local Area Development Fund purely for the execution of development works in educational institutions.

A.Mohamed Yunus, chairman, MIET Educational Institutions, delivered the presidential address. M. Y. Abdul Jaleel, vice chairman, P. M. Mansure, principal, MIET College of Arts and Science, and M. Rajagopalan, principal, MIET Polytechnic College, spoke.
