Medical camps for differently abled from tomorrow

Special medical camps for differently abled children will be held at all block resource centres of the Education for All Scheme across the district from August 5. Differently abled children in the age group of six to 14 could attend the camp. Based on the camps, the children will be issued national identity cards, assistive devices, and follow-up treatment free of cost, Collector Jayashree Muralidharan said in a release. The schedule of the camps is: August 5 – Government Higher Secondary School, Mutharasanallur; August 7 - Government Girls HSS, Thuraiyur; August 8 - Government HSS, Balasamudiram; August 10 - Government Boys HSS, Manachanallur; August 12 - Government HSS, Somarasampetttai; August 13 - Corporation Middle School, Subramaniapuram, Tiruchi; August 14 - Government HSS, Uppilliyapuram; August 16 - Government Boys HSS, Lalgudi; August 17 - Government Girls HSS, Manapparai; August 19 - Government Adi Dravida Girls HSS, Kattur; August 20 - Government HSS, Kovilpatti; August 22 - Government Boys HSS, Musiri; August 23 - Government HSS, Pullampadi; August 26 - Corporation Elementary School, Pandamangalam south, Tiruchi; August 27 - Arignar Anna Government HSS, Vaiyampatti; and August 29 - Government Boys HSS, Thathaiyengarpet.
