Mayor receives over 40 petitions

Over forty petitions containing the various grievances of the people were received during the weekly grievances day meeting held here on Monday. A. Jaya, Mayor, presided over the meeting.

The petitions pertained to removal of garbage, cleaning the drainage, pumping out rain water, road facility in the extended areas, drinking water facility, street lights etc.

The Mayor assured that steps will be initiated within a couple of days for the removal of garbage and cleaning the drainage.

M. Asick Meera, Deputy Mayor, S. Raja Mohamed, City Engineer were present.
