Collector inaugurates training programme for librarians

Libraries are where a sound foundation is laid for a good society. And librarians have a vital role to play in the knowledge era, Collector T. Soundiah said, inaugurating a training programme for librarians from the central districts here on Sunday.

Librarians can herald transformation of the society by fulfilling their responsibility through providing the right guidance to readers.
