Inspector-General of RPF inspects zonal training centre

Inspector-General-cum-Chief Security Commissioner, Railway Protection Force (RPF), Southern Railway, B.Mohan, inspected the RPF Zonal Training Centre here on Wednesday and evaluated the facilities available at the establishment.

IG Mohan’s visit came ahead of the training to be imparted to a fresh group of 400 recruit-constables at the zonal training centre at Khajamalai starting November 1.

A power point presentation was made to the IG regarding the facilities available at the zonal training centre.

Mr.Mohan held discussions with officials and gave instructions to them.

He also inspected the RPF post at the Golden Rock Railway Workshop and held discussions with the Chief Workshop Manager V.Selvam.

This is Mr. Mohan’s maiden visit to Tiruchi after assuming charge as the Chief Security Commissioner in July.
