Collector T.Abraham on Monday inaugurated a new private industrial training centre at Govindapuram panchayat in Ariyalur district.
The Collector said the industrial training centre started by Ramco Cement company would provide training to 130 students in eight courses and pointed out that students passing out from the institute would get employment in cement factories and other industrial units in the Ariyalur district.
MrAbraham appreciated Ramco Cements for starting the industrial training centre keeping in mind the requirement of skilled labour in the industry. R.Pichai, District Revenue Officer, officials from Ramco Cements and others attended the function.
