Induction stoves for women railway staff

Divisional Railway Manager Manjula Rangarajan gave away the stoves to as many as 895 women staff of Tiruchi Railway Division.

Induction stoves were given to Group ‘D’ women railway staff at a function held here on Friday.

Divisional Railway Manager Manjula Rangarajan gave away the stoves to as many as 895 women staff of Tiruchi Railway Division.

The stoves were given free of cost under the Staff Benefit Fund as a welfare measure for the women staff especially those in the lower grade of the railways. The Additional Divisional Railway Manager, S.A. Abdul Rahman, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer R. M. Ravikumar and railway officials participated.

Scholarships

The fund is used for welfare activities such as providing scholarships to wards of railway staff, providing financial assistance to deserving railway employees suffering from severe sickness or terminal illness and for higher education for the wards of railway staff.
