Parents should respect the feelings of children. This will improve the relationship between children and parents, said Maharishi Paranjothiyar of Tirumurthimalai Ulaga Samadhana Trust on Sunday.

He inaugurated a special event on improvement of relationship between parents and children.

Parents should not expect anything from children. They should love the children. If this is done, children will grow as good citizens. Children should be brought up with love and affection. Parents should not find fault with them.

Dr. Venkatramani, child specialist, said that parents should not compare their children with others.
