Collector T.Soundiah on Thursday inspected the process of enumeration of huts for conversion into concrete houses under the Kalaignar Housing Scheme at Thottiyam Panchayat Union.
He visited Manamedu, Alagarai and Mullipadi panchayats to verify the enumeration being done by teams comprising the Village Administrative Officer, Makkal Nala Paniyalar and Panchayat Clerk. He checked the details of the huts covered already and the records maintained by the teams.
Mr.Soundiah also conducted a surprise inspection at the ration shop at Alagarai panchayat
