The eight special children from Tiruchi, who have been selected to participate in in the Special Olympic Asia pacific Games in Australia.

The eight special children from Tiruchi, who have been selected to participate in in the Special Olympic Asia pacific Games in Australia.

Eight special children from the district will participate in the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Games to be held from December 1 to 7 at Newcastle, Australia. More than 2,000 athletes with intellectual disability from over 32 countries will take part in the event.

The eight Tiruchi children will be among 36 participants from Tamil Nadu, and 533 from India. They are Joel S. Varkey, Mani Balu, and Mohanavel from Dolphin Special School; Divakar, Naveen Akash, and Arvind Subramani from Holy Cross Blossoms Special School; Siril Robert from Vidivelli Special School; and Joseph Chakravarthi from Asha Deepam Special School.
