K. Phanindra Reddy, Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply, reviewed the progress of work on the new drinking water supply augmentation scheme in the city on Tuesday. He inspected the collector wells of the new scheme at the Coleroon and the work on interconnecting the pumping mains at Golden Rock. Later, Mr. Reddy held a meeting with senior officials of the corporation, highways, Tangedco, and other departments to review the progress of the project and to ensure better coordination.
He instructed the officials to expedite the work. V.P.Thandapani, Corporation Commissioner, and S.Raja Mohamed, city engineer, were present.
