114 students receive degree certificates at the convocation ceremony of Bharathidasan Institute of Management
Fresh graduates should develop individuality to differentiate themselves to succeed in the competitive world, said R. Dinesh, Joint Managing Director, T.V. Sundram Iyengar & Sons Ltd, here on Saturday.
It is important not to be afraid of making mistakes but to be able to learn from mistakes and not repeat them, he said delivering the convocation address at the Bharathidasan Institute of Management. Success is not what others normally think but what makes one happy and comfortable in what one does, he said.
Mr. Dinesh distributed degrees to 114 students of the 28th batch of the institution, according to BIM press release.
Deepak Agarwal was presented with a gold medal and four other students who had secured the top four positions were awarded cash prizes.
S. Karuthiah Pandian, Director, BIM, called upon students to develop a culture of excellence and understand of the vision of the organisation and their role in it. The BIM he said has entered into agreements with Hitachi Solutions India and Tentacle Technologies, Malaysia, for collaboration in research.
N. Bala Baskar, Member, Board of Governors, BIM, called upon students to network and nurture friendships to help each other reach goals.
