Cycling for AIDS awareness

A cycle rally was organised by Tiruchi Railway Division here on Saturday in connection with World AIDS day to create awareness among people of HIV / AIDS, its causes, and the ways to prevent the spread of the disease.

The rally commenced from the Divisional Railway Manager’s office and culminated at the Railway Hospital in Golden Rock.

It was flagged off by the Additional Divisional Railway Manager S.A. Abdul Rahman. Volunteers of Scouts and Guides of the railways and members of St. John Ambulance took part in the cycle rally and distributed pamphlets to public, railway officials here said.
