Co-optex launches a new sales drive

The Co-optex on Wednesday launched its ‘buy two, get one free’ scheme at its retail outlets in the district on Wednesday.

District Collector K.S. Palanisamy inaugurated the scheme at the Pothigai Cooptex showroom near the Central Bus Stand in the city. In a release later, Mr. Palanisamy said the offer had been introduced for the second consecutive year by the Co-Optex and it would be open till March 28.

Last year, Rs. 90 lakh worth of textiles were sold under the scheme and this year a target of Rs. 1.25 crore had been fixed.

Apart from the offer, the Co-Optex had introduced the “Kanavu nanavu” scheme, monthly savings, and prize coupon schemes. New designs have been introduced.
