Best performing Cooperative Milk Producers Societies were awarded incentives for 2008-09 by the Collector T.Soundiah here on Monday.
The cash incentive of Rs.5,000 each were given for supply of maximum and quality milk in three categories, depending on the daily quantum of milk supplied by the societies.
Accordingly M.Kalaivani, Secretary, Chettikulam Mavilangai Cooperative Milk Producers Society bagged the incentive in the category of up to 501 litres, while M.Sivaraman, Secretary, Perali Cooperative Milk Producers Society, bagged the incentive in the category of up to 2,500 litres.
For the 2,500 litres and above category, the incentive was given to M.Seeni, Secretary, Thaliyampatti Cooperative Milk Producers Society.
V.Vizhinathan, General Manager, Aavin, Tiruchi, and other officials were present.
