Consumer awareness programme on bank loans

The State Consumer Service Centre, a unit of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, has organised a special telephonic programme for clarifying the consumers' doubts on obtaining loans from banks.

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and those in need of clarification can dial 044-28592828.

Guidance

Collector A. Suganthi, in a press release issued here on Friday, said that senior officials from the Indian Overseas Bank and leading lawyers would offer the guidance to the needy.

She has appealed to the members of the public to utilise the opportunity.
