City Union Bank opened two more branches in Tiruchi district – K. K. Nagar in the city and at Musiri – on Thursday.
The K. K. Nagar branch was opened by V.P.Thandapani, Corporation Commissioner. B.V.Ramanan, chairman and managing director of the Livia Polymer Bottles Private Limited, commissioned the automated teller machine at the new branch on the occasion. S.Balasubramanian, Chairman of the bank, presided over the function, in which S.Sekar, Senior General Manager of the bank, participated.
Later in the evening, the Musiri branch of the bank, situated new the new bus stand was inaugurated by A.Musthafa Kamal Batcha, Revenue Divisional Officer, Musiri. B.Shreedhar, industrialist and president of the Lions Club of Musiri, commissioned the branch ATM.
The City Union Bank, with its headquarters in Kumbakonam, accounted for 329 branches and 670 ATMs across the country as on date, a press release of the bank issued in Tiruchi on Friday said.
