Case registered

The Voimedu police have registered a case against a person, Ananthanarayanan, for having abused a person belonging to Scheduled Caste community, during the course of a temple festival.

The incident happened at Sri Mazhai Mariamman temple when Anathanarayanan allegedly abused K. Rasu, a percussionist, who was playing on his instrument. Based on a complaint by Rasu, the Voimedu police have registered a case against Anathanarayanan. No arrest has been made.
