It will be a great opportunity for Plus Two students awaiting informed decisions on their career choices. The much-awaited ‘The Hindu Education Plus’ career counselling session will be held at Hotel Ramyas in the city on April 15.
The event aims at guiding students towards making informed decisions on higher education and career opportunities. It would feature sessions by eminent educationists and academicians on opportunities in higher education and the requirements of the industry.
The gathering of students and parents will interact with the speakers at the end of presentation. The session has been designed to enlarge the students’ perspective on higher education and career opportunities.
The programme would be inaugurated by the V.Arun Roy, Registrar and Vice Chancellor (in-charge), Tamil Nadu Law School.
Prominent speakers are lined up to speak on various topics during the day-long event. Ramesh Praba, Director, Galaxy Institute of Management, Chennai, V.Badrinath, Dean, School of Management, SASTRA University, Kyung Tae Kim, Professor, Kalasalingam University, and S.T.Valliappan, motivational speaker, would handle sessions on various topics.
SASTRA University, Thanjavur, is the presenting sponsor of the event powered by Kalasalingam University. Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of Institutions, K.Ramakrishnan College of Engineering, Alpha College of Engineering and the ‘The Hindu’ (Tamil) and Shiksha are associate sponsors.
The sessions will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday at the Sowbhagya Hall of the Hotel Ramyas near the Central Bus Stand in the city.
